I had a wonderful time at the Topshop Chicago retail store. I was hired as cocktail server for the Men's Style & Grooming event hosted by Urbandaddy (http://www.urbandaddy.com) I served tasty Gentleman Jack cocktails all evening. Topshop dressed me in this stylish outfit, which I loved.

I worked as event staff for Bank of America at the Chicago Marathon Expo. The Chicago Marathon takes place every year and is a 27 mile course throughout the city. The race has 45,000 Marathon participants from all around the country and thousands more spectators. The Chicago Marathon Expo is where participants come to pick up their race packets and do some shopping from an array of vendors a couple days before the race. During the Chicago Marathon expo, I worked at the "Motivation Station". At the "Motivation Station" I encouraged runners to make a personalized back bib stating what their motivation for running the race was. And I encouraged spectators to make a rally sign to help cheer on the runners. I was fun being surrounded by all those Magic Markers and Sharpies all day, very nostalgic.

My latest work was done at the NACS (The Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing) tradeshow in Chicago. This is one of favorite shows to work! The NACS show is geared towards retailers and supplies. Pretty much any product you can find in a convenience store is at NACS. There are energy drinks, relaxation drinks, fruit drinks, flavored waters, candy, tobacco products, etc..There are even gas pumps being displayed and sold.

At the show I worked with a group of wonder people at a great company named AMA Waters. During the event I: Invited attendees to sample waters from AMA, I poured samples of the product while delivering product information to consumers and keeping the display area tidy.

Wilde & Greene Restaurant & Natural Market located in Westfield Old Orchard Mall is now open! Wilde & Greene has 18 kitchens with. You can get anything from sushi, to pasta, to steak and cakes! They pretty much have anything you might have at taste for. The venue also features an outdoor patio. You can even go grocery shopping! I love a place that I can get multiple things accomplished within one trip.

During the event I wore an outfit designed specifically for the grand opening event by a student from The Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. I greeted guest as they entered into the venue as well as distributed gift bags to patrons as they exited the event.

I worked as a Brand Ambassador on the Robert Mondavi Discover Wine tour which made a stop at the Chicago Gourmet festival. Guest came the display to sample Robert Mondavi wines, participate in interactive food pairing demonstrations and educational wine seminars.

My duties at the event was: To be a great Hostess, crowd gather, answer product related questions, and assist with the set up and break down of each seminar.

I worked as Tradeshow staff at the 51st annual ICAAC Conference (Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy). As you can see from the photo our booth had a golf theme. The booth provided a place for attendees to: grab a snack, relax, have meetings and to learn about the clients products.

My main duties at the event was to serve as a Hostess along with run the golfing game, and to scan the badges of every attendee that had interaction within the booth.

The Style Network tour came to town. This event was stationed outside of Old Orchard Mall in Illinois. There was a large display area and a Style Bus which was staffed by Make-up Artist and Nail Technicians. During the event women were able to a free polish change and have their make-up done, what a treat! The woman also received goody bags.

At the event my main responsibilities were hostessing,crowd gathering, and distributing gift bags to our guest.

It was a fun day outside of Chicago's Thompson Center. The Special K "Strut Your Sassy" event bought the music, the runway and celebrity style master, Robert Verdi. The Special K "Strut Your Sassy" event was to empower women to look & feel great in their jeans. Attendees were encouraged to take the Special K challenge to drop a jean size in two weeks! Attendees were also encouraged to walk the Special K runway and give video testimonial. During the event Fruit Crisps samples where distributed to attendees along with the Special K's new Dark Chocolate Protein Shake. My main duties for the day was line control, hyping the ladies up! and getting the ladies safely onto, and off the stage.

I had a nice time working a couple of Aetna Senior Bowling Championship, Wii events. The events were geared towards senior citizens. My fellow Brand Ambassadors & I set the entire event up, and broke everything down at the end of event. During the event I taught the seniors how to play Nintendo's Wii Bowling game. The seniors were split up into teams and their final scores were tallied against other seniors who participated in events nationwide. The highest scoring teams will eventually get to compete against each other via a live feed!

Cathay Pacific Airlines now offers a direct flight from Chicago to Hong Kong. To promote the airlines new flight route, I took to the streets with my fellow Brand Ambassadors to spread the message. We were stationed in and around Chicago's, Thompson Center distributing free CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) cards which were encased in a card holder which showcased the companies logo and brand messaging. Along with distributing the card, I reiterated the brand messaging to commuters.

I was Team Lead for a street team promotion for Kinerase, a anti aging skin care line. During the promotion myself along with a team of three Brand Ambassadors drove traffic to a local Walgreens location that carries the product. We distributed 2,000 product samples and information brochures about the product line, to a demographic of women 25 and up. After the event I was responsible to send photos and a recap of the event for client review.

I had a fun time working at the Dell Lounge at Lollapalooza this year. The lounge was an air conditioned area for festival goers to chill out and at times come party, watch live streaming of the concert, listen and dance to a live DJ and special band performances on our stage, and use the workstations which included the Dell Streak 7 Tablet, Precision and Inspiron 15R laptops to name a few.

My duties at the event was all about interaction with consumers. I took photos of consumers using the Streak 7 Tablet, encouraged photo booth interaction, encouraged sweepstakes entries and promoted Dell's twitter channels.

My latest event was for The Perfect Cup Tour, by Skinny Cow. Skinny Cow is the maker of low fat delicious ice cream treats. This event was a clever promotion that not only offered women the perfect cup of ice cream by Skinny Cow, but it offered the ladies a bra fitting and a free bra.

The event was held in Chicago at Union Station. Union Stations, Great Hall, was transformed into a stylish and chic venue which included: Fitting rooms, a Lounge area, a DJ Booth, a Makeup station, a Swag Bag station, a Sweepstakes station, and more.

During the event I greeted event attendees and assured each guest was properly registered and given admittance wristbands and out fitting room pagers.

My latest event was for T-Mobile in effort to promote the T-Mobile SideKick 4G slide phone. The 2 day event kicked off inside of a T-Mobile retail location in Chicago. Guest showed up to meet and get an autograph from R&B singer/Rapper, Jerimah. During the event I: Demoed the T-Mobile SideKick to consumers, distributed premiums, managed line control, distributed food and concert tickets, answered basic questions and ensured our guest were having a fab time with the T-Mobile brand.

Day 2 of the event took place at music venue where guest were given a free concert from the previous days special guest, Jerimah. During the event I assisted in managing lines and making sure our guest were having a grand ole' time.

It was the 3rd year anniversary of Women's Health Magazine's, Are You Game? event. I worked as a Brand Ambassador at the event which was held at North Avenue beach in Chicago. My duties included: Assisting with set up and break down, maintaining my stationed tent, and ensuring that all of our guest were having a fabulous time.

The Are You Game? event is a great time. There were so many women that showed up to the event! The following is just a few of the free activities that were provided to the women: Workout classes, wardrobe consultations from industry professionals, hair and make-up services, samples of various product and goody-bags!

I worked the registration table for a Chrysler Ride & Drive program at a suburban Illinois festival. During the event consumers test drove Chrysler, Dodge, Ram & Fiat vehicles. Before anyone could test drive a vehicle, I was responsible for: Checking I.D's, getting a signed waiver from the consumer, stamping the consumers hand, conducting a breathalyzer exam if I saw fit, distributing premiums and answering general questions.

As with any event I work, I always have a great time, as you can see from the photo below.

I have conducted quite a few promotions lately for the premiere of TV shows and movies. My latest promotion was in honor of the premiere of the movie Captain America. I managed a 3 day event at a local Chicago movie theater.

I had 2 great Brand Ambassadors on my team to help execute the event. The event started for me with a little preparation, I had the uniforms and about 30 boxes of premiums shipped to me, which then had to be transported by me to the location site. Once on site the Brand Ambassadors and I distributed premiums and relayed talking points about the movie & it's release date. After each event day I completed a re-cap of the events demographics, quotes I over heard from consumers and uploaded 40-50 photos I had taken of consumers interacting with the brand. After all event days were complete, I then shipped back our cute little outfits to the client.

I kicked off the Taste of Chicago, here in Chicago working at the US Olympic Team tent in partnership with Budweiser (one of the official sponsors of the US Olympic team). During the event I assisted with line control, taking photos of guest at photo set ups and with the US Olympic medalist that were signing autographs at the booth, as well as insuring all guest had a great experience with the brand. Recently, I worked on a guerilla marketing street team program in Chicago. During the series of promotions a team of Brand Ambassadors including me, hit high traffic areas with logo-ed ice cream bicycle carts, and a team of scooter Brand Ambassadors riding dual sided billboard scooters.

During the event I distributed free ice cream courtesy of Haagen Dazs and informed every person I spoke with of USA Network premiere of the new show SUITS.

During the promotion we were able to speak to hundreds upon hundreds of people about the show SUITS, distribute free ice cream and pass out USA Network & SUITS flyers. This marketing effort will increase the number of viewers who are aware of the show and who tune into the shows premiere.

This past weekend I worked at the Health Freedom Expo. The Health Freedom Expo is a non-profit organization that creates awareness about available natural health and wellness cures, and helps to defend practitioners who use natural cures. I worked an evening event after ASCO for The CBCE (The Center for Biomedical Continuing Education). The CBCE provides continuing medical education for physicians, nurses and pharmacist. During the event, I assisted with registering guests, and directing guest to the correct meeting rooms.

I had a fantastic time representing Coca-Cola as a Presenter at the 2011 NRA (National Restaurant Association) tradeshow in Chicago.

I was the voice you heard over the speakers introducing the Coca-Coca Freestyle dispenser. The Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser is awesome! It dispenses 125 brands in honor of the company's 125th anniversary.

During the event I explained the features and technology behind the dispenser to tradeshow attendees. I also had some fun walking around the booth with a stilt walker chatting with attendees about the Freestyle dispenser.

Event Staff:: Thor Movie Screening::Chicago

It was fun playing a member of S.H.I.E.L.D (Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division). This division does not exist in "real" life but it does exist in the movie THOR.

I was hired as event staff for the pre-screening of the movie THOR. During the event, I guided the pre-screening guest from the theatre pre-screening to trolleys outside of the theater that awaited them. I rode with the guest on a trolley to a secret party venue where guest where treated to hors d'oeuvres. , music, and cocktails. Acura, the official car of the movie THOR, was displayed on-site and guest got to pose on a green screen and have Thor, superimposed next to them.

During the event, I: helped with line control, answered questions, handed out goodie bags, helped to make sure guest where having a great experience at the event and provided over all ambiance with the outfitting.

This past weekend I worked as event staff for the Sprite Step Off event in Chicago, Illinois.The event is sponsored by Sprite and highlights the art form of college stepping. College sororities and fraternities perform step routines for the the chance to win scholarship money for their team. If you've never heard of "stepping" I recommend you google "college stepping". There were 100's, and 100's of people in attendance.

I enjoy the hustle and bustle and energy in the air of working large scale events.
During the event I assisted with a variety of tasks including: Set-up and break down of the event and line control. I also acted as a "handler" for my assigned sorority team to make sure they were happy, well assisted and guided to sound check and got to stage on time to perform.

Event Marketing Field Manager-Chicago

Recently, I was the Field Manager for The Home Depot's, "Girls Night Out" and "Do-It-Herself" workshops at 2 Chicago The Home Depot locations. The free events are marketing initiatives that reach out to women. During the events women learn home improvement skills through a series of fun activities and workshops.

At the event I was responsible for overseeing the entire event, set-up and break down, leading 4 The Home Depot staff, 5 vendors, and 1 radio remote and emcee at each location. I was also responsible for shipping event materials back to the client, taking photos of the events demographic and submitting a detailed re-cap report to the client.

This past weekend I worked at the AudiologyNow! tradeshow in Chicago which is the worlds largest gathering of Audiologists. I was part of the hospitality staff at the Starkey booth. During the event the other staff and I served delicious snacks to booth attendees & acted as general hospitality.

Many successful exhibitors have a hospitality suite located in their booth display. The area has comfortable furniture, televisions and is catered with beverages & snacks. The area serves as a place for the sales staff to meet with clients or prospects to converse in depth. Many other show attendees also come by to relax and get off their feet for a few, all while still taking in the company branding that surrounds them & having an interactive, hospitable experience.

The latest tradeshow I worked was the SIR (Society of Interventional Radiology) 2011 in Chicago. I was hired as a ultrasound model at the Zonare Medical Systems booth. During the show, Zonare's Z.One Ultra System was demonstrated to attendees by a technician who then scanned my neck, abdomen or legs to showcase the beautiful images the system produces.

This past weekend I worked as a Convention Host at the Mid Winter Dental meeting in Chicago. I worked for Proctor & Gamble at the Crest Oral-B booth. During the three day convention, I assisted with: Directing attendees throughout the booth, line control, and informing attendees about a new award program designed by Crest Oral-B to honor registered Dental Hygienists as well as collecting nominations for that program from attendees.

Baby, it's cold outside. I've been working events to promote the Blackberry Torch from AT&T. I am working with a group of about 15 other Brand Ambassadors on a 5 day event. Our first 2 events was outside on Michigan Avenue, in Chicago. The Blackberry Torch from AT&T is on sale for $99 w/ a 2 yr. service contract until Christmas. During the event we give out Blackberry Torch's or Blackberry Accessories every 99 minutes of our 8 hour work shift! As you can see from the posted photos, I'm holding the count down clock, so people can see how much time is left until the next giveaway.We are out on the streets creating a buzz about the sale and making some unsuspecting people very happy to win a prize.

I worked a 3 day promotional event as event staff, to celebrate the opening of the 1st Microsoft store in the Midwest.

The new Microsoft store is located at Oak brook Mall in Oak brook, Il. All 3 days of the event was filled with excitement! There was a free concert from signer John Legend one day, and a free concert from singer Colbie Caillat the next day. Also in attendance were the Black Hawks mascot, the White Sox Mascot, Chicago Bears player Devin Hester, and Chicago Cubs legend Ernie Banks. During the event I helped out with line control, distributing premiums, and demonstrating the new Microsoft Kinect game for Xbox 360.

I was the Team Lead of a group of 9 awesome Brand Ambassadors. We worked a corporate team building event. During the event, hundreds of a corporate companies employees funneled in and formed teams of up to 18. Once each employee was on a team, the games begun! Each team had 2 hours to solve a series of team building puzzles, projects, and brain twisters.

The Brand Ambassadors and I acted as the "Genius's" of the event. I must note, we learned all the answers to the puzzles by solving them ourselves during a pre event training, I had to earn that genius shirt! During the event we were in charge of making sure each teams puzzles were correct before paying them in play money.

It was such a cold day in downtown Chicago, but the promotion must go on!

I worked with a team of Brand Ambassadors to promote Journalist- Anderson Coopers, show, "Anderson Cooper 360" which airs on CNN. The event was a cross promotion for "AC 360", which airs on CNN and cable television provider,Comcast. We had a popular local radio station present on site to promote the days event. Comcast representatives were also on-site offering cable television packages.

During the event I engaged consumers by informing them of the show "AC 360" and providing them with the air time and station the program can be viewed. I also distributed Anderson Cooper fat heads, I-phone stickers, program literature and more.

I worked for a company by the name of EFI at the 2010 Graph Expo in Chicago. The Graph Expo is a 4 day trade show geared towards the printing industries. At the show, I was responsible for attracting consumers to the presentation area of the booth, attending to the Crack the Safe area (consumers received a number code after watching a presentation at the booth; in which they could enter their code and possibly win a I-pod touch) , and scanning badges (lead generation).

During the first day of the Graph Expo, EFI had a press conference. During the press conference I was one of the models to showcase a dress that had patterns printed on them from a EFI printing machine. I, along with the other EFI trade show models were included in a "Show Daily" newspaper article along side Guy Gecht is Chief Executive Officer of EFI .

Market Manager-Chicago

I was the Market Manager for the pre-screening of the feature film "You Again" sponsored by Hollywood Unlocked and Coca Cola.

I managed the event for a total of 3 days. The first 2 days consisted of pre-promotion. I planned out what locations would be targeted for the pre-promotion event. I, along with 4 Brand Ambassadors hit the surrounding neighborhoods of the movie theatre, nearby Universities and train stations to pass out free movie screening tickets. Over 2 days, we distributed 2,500 movie tickets!

On the day of the event I was responsible for: transporting majority of the equipment to the event location which included: a printer,laptop camera ,green screen, video camera, meal tickets, give a ways, and Brand Ambassador uniforms. Throughout the event I communicated with the theatre management, and several of the clients as well as accommodating V.I.P guest. I made sure the the delivery of the GoBo lights, stanchions and limo were on time and in place. I managed a team of 7 Brand Ambassadors who assisted with event set up and break down as well as staying on specific task throughout the event.

Patrons started lining up for the screening 3 hours before the scheduled 7p start. The movie screening started promptly at 7p after I gave a welcome speech to the audience. All 252 theater seats for the pre-screening of "You Again" were filled.

IMTS- International Manufacturing and Technology Show ::Tradeshow Hostess::Chicago

For the last six days, I have been working at IMTS (International Manufacturing & Technology Show) which took place at Chicago's, McCormick Place. IMTS comes into town every two years. I worked as a Booth Hostess for a great company, DMG/Mori Seiki. DMG/Mori Seiki had the largest IMTS metal cutting booth ever! the booth was over 30,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Chernise @ the Chicago Triathlon with POM Brand Ambassadors

I was the Field Manager of 10 Brand Ambassadors for a 3 day event representing POM Wonderful at the Chicago Triathlon Pre Event & Event.
POM Wonderful is 100% pomegranate juice packed with antioxidants.

As a Field Manager, I was responsible for time sheets and scheduling breaks, relaying brand information to Brand Ambassadors and consumers as well as helping the client to keep the ship afloat by: unloading the storage truck, event set-up, event break down, supply replenishment,delegating task to the Brand Ambassadors throughout the event, etc.

During the first two days of the pre event we sampled out two flavors of POM Wonderful. The last day, we were positioned at the finish line at the Triathlon. At the finish line display we blended up banana and strawberry smoothies using POM X, which is a antioxidant recovery. The event was a total success!

Chicago is such a beautiful city and I got to take in some of that beauty at the John Hancock Observatory. I was working as a Brand Ambassador for the Biotrue "What Inspires You?" event. Biotrue is a contact solution inspired by the biology of your eyes.

Biotrue paid for up to 5,000 people to visit the observatory complimentary for that day! During the event I: relayed product information, helped with line control for our complimentary photo area, distributed manufacturers coupons, assisted patrons with signing up for a sweepstakes, assisted patrons with adding Biotrue to their social network, as well as taking a step outside to distribute event invitations to passers-bys/ to crowd gather.

I was in the V.I.P Artist Lounge at Lollapalooza in Chicago,Il. representing The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as a Hostess. The Cosmopolitan is a luxury resort opening December 15th of 2010 on the Las Vegas Strip. During the event, I showed patrons photos of the resort on a I-Pad, I distributed swag, informed patrons about a text to win contest, and offered chilled aromatherapy towels.
I really like love the fact that the suites at The Cosmopolitan have over sized private terraces overlooking the strip!

Chernise at the Sony Bloggie Borrow Bar

I had a great time representing Sony at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago,Il. I worked at the Sony Bloggie Borrow Bar. The Sony Bloggie, is Sony's first pocket camcorder! I love the fact that the Sony Bloggie has a lens that swivels up to 270 degrees- It makes it so easy to to record yourself because you can actually see what you are recording on the screen.
Festival Patrons were able to borrow a Bloggie for the day, in return for leaving a photo i.d until they bought the Bloggie back. When the consumer bought the Bloggie back to the bar, they were able to use Sony VAIO computers in the lounge in order to automatically upload their captured footage to any social network.
At the event I was responsible to crowd gather outside of the Bloggie tent, to hand out the Bloggie's to patron and maintain a binder full of photos i.d's as well as a time in/time out log.The Bloggie Borrow Bar, was a fantastic promotional event, and kudos to whomever came up with the concept.

Chernise working the Kashi Day of Change Tour

I was a local Brand Ambassador for The Kashi Day of Change Tour which made a stop at The Summer on Southport Festival in Chicago, Il. This is my second time working with Kashi! The Kashi Day of Change Tour consisted of a Kashi Café where Kashi products were being sampled. The footprint also operated in conjunction with Burt's Bee's. There was sampling of Burt's Bees new product line and a masseuse giving hand massages using Burt's Bee's lotions.

This event was very interactive and educational. Consumers learned about healthier lifestyle choices. During the event I distributed product samples, relayed product information, managed the flow of traffic and helped to keep the event upbeat.
During the event, I also became a fan...a fan of Burt's Bees pomegranate "Naturally Ageless" line (The hand cream smells fresh and fantastic) and the "Natural Acne Solutions" line (the Clarifying Toner is great! I use it every day.) I also remembered how much I love Kashi's "Honey Sunshine" cereal. I was a Brand Ambassador representing American Express & introducing the new Zync Card. The event took place at the Pitch Fork Music Festival in Union Park located in Chicago, Il. The American Express footprint, which was called the Zync Zone was an air conditioned & furnished tent-featuring high tech graphic displays. The wall allowed patrons to Twitter with a pitchfork or Zync Zone hash tag as well as log into Foursquared and have their post show on our display wall. There was also a Power up station where festival go-ers could charge their cell phones. There was photo station where patrons got their photo taken and then headed over to a kiosk to manipulate the photos color and immediately upload it to a social network like Flicker, Facebook, or Twitter.
The wall showcased music videos where patrons could interactively text in to vote for the song they wanted to hear next.The American Express Zync Zone wall even displayed a live schedule of the bands on stage and coming up. This wall was magic!

My duties as a Brand Ambassador was to: Attract visitors to the tent, greet visitors,assist at the photo kiosk, deliver brand messaging and keep the vibe of the tent upbeat.

It was hot, hot, hot at the "Taste of Chicago" this year. I have a nice tank top tan to prove it. For those not familiar with "The Taste", it is culinary festival located off of Chicago's downtown lakefront. At the festival you can sample yummy food from restaurants located all around Chicago. "Taste of Chicago" is a tourist attraction as well as a favorite amongst the locals.This year I worked with Bull's-Eye BBQ sauce, made by Kraft. I worked 8 days of the 10 day festival along side 5 other Promotional models. We helped patrons -- Make The Bold Choice-- !! By distributing hundreds of thousands of sample packages of Bull's-Eye BBQ sauce, delivering brand messaging and pumping up the crowd along side an Emcee at our tents football toss game.

I worked a great promotion for the John Frieda Salon Tour. The event took place at Chicago's Navy Pier. The John Frieda truck was set up to look like an actual salon. Inside the salon were John Frieda hair stylists from New York, who gave complimentary hair consultations to patrons. My job as a Brand Ambassador on this tour was to sign in patrons as the entered the salon, I delivered key brand messaging, and made sure everyone had an overall great experience with the tour. I worked a really fun promotion at the Blues Fest Chicago. 9 other experienced Brand Ambassadors & I promoted the new show "Memphis Beat", which airs on TNT June 22, 2010. The Memphis Beat tent had: free BBQ for patrons to enjoy, free photos, karaoke to a live band, we handed out donuts in cased in a logo-ed box, and we raffled off a epiphone hummingbird guitar each 3 days we were at the Blues Fest. As a Brand Ambassador on this promotion I: relayed key speaking points about the TV show to people, I attracted attention to the tent by street teaming, I signed patrons up for the raffle, I went guerrilla marketing style out into the park with a awesome group of Acapella singers, they sang while I passed out logo-ed swag and I made sure folks had a fantastic experience at the tent! A trade show floor can be exhausting, with maneuvering through thousands of people and visiting hundreds of booths. When a company has a booth display at a trade show, they want to make sure their visitors have a little bit of relaxation, and have a pleasant experience while learning about products and placing orders from the sales staff.

The "NRA"- National Restaurant Association is one of the largest and the most anticipated trade shows for the food service and hospitality industries. This year I worked the NRA show in Chicago for Georgia-Pacific Professional (http://www.gp.com/aboutus/index.html) as their booth hospitality hostess, along with a couple of other professional hostesses. As a hospitality hostess, I made sure all clients and potential clients were greeted with a smile and offered a beverage.

The winner was chosen and the commercial spot aired during the Indianapolis 500 broadcast. I had a great time at Soldier Field in Chicago,Il this afternoon. I was there for the Mexico vs. Senegal soccer match and I was representing NAPA autoparts as a NAPA girl. NAPA is one of the sponsers of the Mexican National team. The Mexico vs. Senegal match was a sold out event! there were thousands of fans in attendence.

Prior to the soccer match, there was an activity area set up for fans to pre game. All major sponsers had their own tent set up, and engaged patrons with plenty of fun activities. As a NAPA girl, I got to take photos with fans, distribute promotional swag and toss items into the stands. At 57 degrees in Chicago, it was a chilly, but awesomely fun day!

The segment host and Lands' End representative explained to viewers how to select swimsuits for their particular body type. My body type is considered curvy. I was 1 of the Principle Actors in a commercial shot in Cincinnati,Ohio with Celebrity Actor and Musician, Nick Lachey. The shoot location was in Fountain Square, in the middle of downtown Cincinnati. There was lots of production people, extras and on lookers on and around the set. 83 degree weather made it a perfect day for an outdoor shoot!

Since I live in Chicago, the client flew the 3 other principle actors and I to Cincinnati on a charter flight. Take a look at our tiny plane. It was an exciting flight to say the least...will I fly on a tiny plane again? Of course!

Lead Hostess

I recently was the lead hostess for the NIKE U.S soccer launch party. The event was held in a bank vault in Chicago. The theme of the party was similar to a speakeasy.

My main duties as the lead hostess, was to: Meet and greet guest in a courteous manner at the entrance to the party, Arrange for prompt seating of guests, Answer general queries and direct people around the party, Communicate effictively to other event staff and management via a walkie talky, To be a guidance to the other event hostesses, As well as to keep track of key data to recap to management.

A Hostess is a must at an event. We set the beautiful tone you want to create for your event. A Hostess is amongst the first interactions your guest will have at your event. Hiring a lead hostess will help keep your other hostess on track, and serve as their point of contact, thus lessing managements work load. You concern yourself with dealing with the press, and making sure the operation stays a float, While the lead hostess is assuring that all the hostess are creating the best brand experience possible for your guest.

I am representing The Spalena Collection by Comphy at a 10 day Costco Roadshow. Spalena is a luxury line of bed linens that stem from the spa industry. The Spalena line currently includes: sheet sets, duvets, blankets, and pillow shams. My duties include grabbing consumers attention, relaying product messaging and increasing sales...oh, and trying not to lay down on my bed display, because the Spalena sheets are so soft.

Brand Ambassador- Food Demonstrator

One of my latest promotions was at Save-a-lot. Save-a-lot is an extreme value grocery store chain which is the thirteenth largest retail chain in U.S. I represented the grocery chains program, S.W.A.P, which stands for Switch with a Purpose. The program demonstrates to consumers how easy it is to start eating healthy by swapping out certain food choices with healthier food choices. The store location I was at was filled with media. We even had a school bus of young children stop by as their field trip. The children were then guided to each display by Supermarket Guru, Phil Lempert. One of the many displays I worked on at the event was sampling out light low fat yogurt with fresh bananas-a healthier choice for a snack. I also distributed gift bags to every shopper as they exited the store.

Brand Ambassador- Technology

I assisted Panasonic, for the Panasonic Touch The Future Tour. Panasonic showcased their latest technology; including their new 3D flat screen T.V's! One of my responsibilities included working with a street team of about 18 other local Brand Ambassadors. We drove Traffic to the event location by flyering and inviting consumers to the event. My main responsibility was product demonstrating Panasonics latest LCD and LED LCD flat screen TV’s and Blu Ray Home Theater Systems, along with explaining the products features to consumers.

Another day, and another interesting promotion. Today I represented Café de Columbia. I was part of a team of twelve...not including Juan Valdez and his mule Conchita. The event took place at the crack of dawn at Union Station in Chicago. I distributed free cups of 100% columbian coffee. This week, I was apart of the Potty Dance Crew. Yes, you read that correctly. The Huggies Pull-up Potty Dance is a craze amongst children.

The morning event for Huggies Pull-ups included: a live band, a dance party, snacks, potty training advice, facepainting and other cool activities a 2 year old would enjoy.

Every family who attended recieved a potty training gift bag from Huggies Pull-Ups.
This was a really fun event. I enjoyed greeting all the guest who arrived and of course, doing the potty dance with the kids.

Recently, I shot some footage as a test shoot for video wallpaper. The creative mastermind of this project was Lance of Dlux Films(http://www.dluxfilms.com/) and the stylist was key makeup artist, Alx of ABC channel 7 in Chicago (http://www.helloalx.com/)
The video shows me in every step of getting ready for a night out. You see me selecting and putting on my undergarments, applying my make-up, and trying on different outfits. I will post the footage as soon as I receive it.

I then produced some new images in Miami with one of my favorite photographers, Hamid Kootval (http://www.hamidkootval.com/) and make-up artist/hair stylist extraordinaire, Cassandra.C (http://www.thehairchemist.com/)

Next, I was off to L.A to stay at the one and only Playboy mansion. I stayed at the mansion for 5 days as I was doing a test shoot. I shot at Playboy Studio West with the amazing, Arny Freytag (http://www.arnyfreytagstudios.com/)

My plan A for New Years Eve, turned out to be Plan B

I rang in the New Year, with Plan B. Plan B is a emergency contraceptive. I was stationed at a bar venue in Chicago. My duties in this advertising initiative were to place Plan B's signage in womens restrooms and gather any feedback from patrons. The signage I posted included a business card holder and business cards providing women information of how they could contact a facility or gain more information on where and how to recieve emergency contraceptive.

I recently was back in Playboy studios to shoot some fun and silly!!! footage to promote the release of Bayonetta. Bayonetta, a character I look or sound nothing like. Bayonetta is a new action game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. As of 1/28/2010 the Playboy video clip had been out for 1 month and had 114,676 views on you tube. Fragrant

I managed an event at Nordstrom in downtown Chicago,for YSL's new women's fragrance named Parisienne. I had 3 great promotional reps on my team. We assisted the YSL fragrance counter by passing out flyer's and perfume samples along with relaying brand messaging to consumers. The mission of this event was to increase the counter sales for the day.

I've been to several bars throughout Illinois this season promoting several different spirits brands. The particular brands I worked with were: Bacardi Limon, Dewars, and Grey Goose. During this promotion I distributed samples of the brand being promoted that given night, as well as delivered key messaging points about that brand to the consumers.

This past week, I worked a promotional event for Ebay, the world's largest online marketplace! We had a Mobile Boutique set up in front of the historic Wrigley building in Chicago,Il. The boutique showcased the hottest searched items on Ebay for the Holiday season.Myself along with a team of Brand Ambassadors delivered brand messaging to consumers, guided consumers on how to nativigate the Ebay website, administered surveys and distributed premiums.

Tis the season for grilling

By looking at the photos below, I'm sure you can tell that it was cold outside. Just in case your wondering, I'm wearing 3 shirts, a coat, scarf, hat, hoodie, and gloves. I'm also packed with hand and foot warmers. Brrr!

The cold doesn't stop me, and the cold is surely not a reason to stop busting out the grill. I have been recently working promotional events for the Ez Grill, which is a disposable grill. The photos are from the Northwestern vs. Penn State football game in Illinois. Our tent was set up right outside the gates.

During this promotion I educated tailgaters about the Ez Grille and distributed literature. The Ez Grill team & I also demonstrated the grill by cooking hot dogs and handling them for free!

Banking on the perfect cup of coffee

It's been a busy week as usual. I have been working a promotion for Keurig, single cup coffee maker. This promotion is brilliant. Our huge display and decals are all over the train station. What better way to target coffee drinkers, than hitting up the early morning commuters.
My duties are to attract foot traffic to Keurig's booth display, by roaming around the train station and passing out empty coffee cups and directing commuters where to go to get their FREE cup of coffee! Once at the Keurig display, commuters not only get to taste the perfect cup of coffee, but they get hands on by brewing their own cup of Joe. The commuters get to see how quick and easy it is to use the Keurig coffee makers.

Another promotion I worked on was for Bank of America at the Chicago Marathon Convention. My main duties were to attract attention to the booth display, maintain the prize redemption area and inform consumers of Bank of America's new mobile banking feature.

First Fridays

This past Friday,I introduced a new luxury cigarette for Dunhill. The event took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art located in downtown Chicago. The first Friday of every month the museum throws a party. It was the perfect place to reach consumers to introduce Dunhill's new cigarettes and capture data from consumers.

I approached consumers who were over 21 years of age and smokers to introduce Dunhill's new brand of premium "fine-cut" cigarettes, which are new to the U.S. After introducing the brand and new style of cigarette to consumers, I asked for their I.D which I then swiped through my handheld computer pallet. My handheld device was then able to capture valuable data from the consumer which will be used for market research. I then gave the consumer two sample packs of cigarettes and provided then with a list of locations in Illinois where Dunhill Fine Cut cigarettes can be purchased. Mission accomplished. Passion for Fashion

I had a great time working at the Westfield Mall Style Tour. The event was all about fashion. The Westfield Style Tour was in conjunction with Modelinia.com, which is a new fashion website. This event was all about driving traffic to the mall, up-ing sales to participating stores, driving traffic to the Modelinia website and showing consumers an all in all good time. At the event, woman took a quiz at designated kiosk. The quiz determined the consumers "Style Profile" which could range from Classic Sophisticate, Modern Boho, Contemporary Chic and Rule Breaker.

I greeted and assisted the consumer at the kiosk. Once the style profile was completed, consumers were escorted by me to a closet filled with clothing and jewerly pulled from various stores in the mall. The consumer was then given a FREE wardbrobe/style consultation from a celebrity wardbrobe stylist! -Very Cool! Christian Siriano, former winner of Project Runway made a appearance at the event, there were runway shows, VIP events, goody bags, live music, a dj spinning the hottest tracks and more!

Just Say Yes...

...TO CARROTS. I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a brand activation campaign for YES TO CARROTS products. (Brand activation is a process of having targeted consumers sample a certain product,usually with no cost associated. The benefit of Brand Activation is that the same consumer may become a repeat customer of the product.)

The sampling took place in Chicago, Illinois in Grant Park for the Susan G. Komen- Race for the Cure. During the event I distributed several products from Yes To Carrots including Yes To Carrots lip butter and soothing eye gel from the Yes to Cucumbers product line. Along with sampling the products, I relayed information about the products and distributed manufacturer coupons.

Consumers enjoyed receiving the products. And I enjoyed participating at the event.

Keeping Busy

It's been such a busy couple of weeks! Let me briefly walk you through it.

I helped Amway Global at the National Spotlight Convention. I gave out samples of new sports endurance products and answered product related questions.

I was then, giving out samples of the many different flavors of La Croix (Pure Sparking Water); including Grapefruit which is the companies newest flavor. At this event I relayed product messaging, and distributed manufactures coupons with a team.

As for my current project, I'm on the streets! On the streets...product sampling that is. Trident (gum) has launched a new flavor named Strawberry Twist and they have labeled it "a little piece of Happiness". I will be at several different high traffic locations in the upcoming weeks, handling out samples with a team .
